Is it true - remove GYNO (lump)
« on: December 02, 2005, 06:09:27 AM »
removing this tissue mass and IT can never grow back  :-\
. . . never worry again - this DOES appeal to me . . .

**I have thought of saying F!ck IT to gyno ???  and
(eventually) just having costly surgery to permanently
remove lump (which I DO NOT have presently) as
it could likely occur without estrogen blocker use.

I have resources that I could budget to $$$ surgery . . .
I had heard about 4,000.00 to remove gyno.

Sounds too good to be true . . .  ;D

I think after the surgery it doesn't come back; I would ask my doc.
Some of it is left so the nipple does not collapse but I doubt it will grow much.

$4,000 doesn't sound unrealistic at all,,  You can get a boob job for maybe twice that and it's a much more invasive surgery plus the implants have to be paid for...
(Of course if you have good Gyno you won't need implants  :P)

I would just as well NOT use estrogen blockers entirely
but don't want to risk - as my body fat HAS dropped,
it would (have) become readily apparent.

I DO NOT drink much alcohol but especially beer for this reason.

A lifelong friend will not remove his shirt around any of us
EG: at the pool or while out no the boat (while he skis)
due to his years of beer enjoyment.

Mem,

You can get a decent mammary operation for about 3000-3500.....

And your dream will come true.....It never comes back most of the time.

It can always grow back, some of the glandular tissue has to remain or the nipple would cave in.

Trust me, it can always grow back if there is enough estrogen present.

I spoke to Dr. Berman about this, and he echoed the same sentiment.

can the gland be removed?  a pro told me this is the only way for it to not come back.

That's what I'm talking about, bro.

If the doc removes the whole gland, the nipple will cave in.

See where I'm goin' with this?

plastic surgery could fill it up not to cave in.

I think the nipple may die if you remove it all.

DIV is correct I have spoken with 2 plastic surgeons as well they have to leave part of the gland or nip caves in and yes it CAN come back
