yep, and she knew he wasn't gonna do anything in front of the cameras...very slick. She knew how to manipulate things/events, to her advantage, and the wording....
I give credit to Tyson. You could tell he was caught off guard but he didn't flip out which would have only made it worse. You could also tell givens was milking that interview for all it was worth. She was probably half way out the door before she gave that interview and was using it as a spring board for a post Mrs. Tyson career, which never panned out. I might be biased in Tyson's favor. You and I are probably about the same age and Tyson was a big sports hero during our youth. People can argue over how he would stand up to today's heavyweights but at the time it was exciting to watch him fight. Wanderlei Silva and Tyson are still my favorite fighters. |
