it is well documented that he could jump more than 2 inches off the floor when necessary.
I dont believe it I think 1/3/4 inches was his best jump Cool, but could shoot and and run.

In terms of "all round" athlete it's obviously an Olympic decathlete - it's not even close. Although any middleweight to cruiserweight boxer would definitiely have to be up there too.

In terms of physical fitness (where physical strength isn't such a huge factor) then I would take an Olympic triathlete.

you're right about decathletes, they need to have everything, except for quick hands and outstanding agility

and some of those dudes can even clock out a 4:30 mile Shocked

People forget Bruce Jenner used to be a great athlete.  After he hooked up with that clan of idiots, the kardashians, and had all that plastic surgery, he become a giant joke.

you cant compare different aports like that, duuuh.

ppl cant even agree on what is a sport by definition.

a football player isnt gonna do well in a winter decathlon

there are major components of athleticism and they are as follows

1. strength 2. speed 3. power 4. agility 5. quickness 6. balance 7. coordination 8. stamina 9. endurance

so the question is, which athletes have highest levels of these components? i say football backs

but according to coach, golfers are athletes lol

Probably american football linebackers. They have an unreal level of size, speed, quickness, and strength.
