Sardines - PROTEIN
« on: December 10, 2012, 08:34:30 PM »
5 cents per gram of protein (19g), omega 3's, 150 calories.  I believe they're extremely low in Mercury?

Can you beat that?

And afterwards, you'll have breath that can knock a buzzard off a manure wagon!

I love sardines; all fish actually.  Great for ya.  If you are eating them canned, they're good with mustard.  The only hesitation I have about canned sardines besides the plastic coating inside the can is that most of the sardine cans I've come across have "Made In China" stamped on the bottom :-X :-X  I don't even want to think of the scene in that canning factory.

Love them. And the nasty smell reminds me of late night sex when personal hygiene is no longer a problem. So it's all good.

smoked sardines are great.  Go to a good italian deli and you can get them fresh and not canned
