It was before Roots. It would have been for their Chaos AD album. And yes it was awesome. Arena was only half sold and lots of room on the floor which was general admission.
Pantera was throwing out cups of beer into the audience every few minutes. They brought a guy on stage that chugged a beer through his nose.
Haha awesome! I would have loved to have seen Pantera live, such a powerful and aggressive sound with an amazing groove.
They were getting harder and more extreme with every new record I wish they had made a few more.
