The upper, outer portion of the glute (where I inject) is not where I shit from.  Furthermore, the upper, outer portion of my glute does not touch the toilet seat when I "drop the kids off at the pool".  I guess for people who lay back on the toilet as if they're in a recliner would have that problem.

It would be one thing if you took a dump, wiped, got off the toilet and grabbed your syringe, pulled your ass cheeks apart and inserted the needle a quarter inch from your bung hole.

If you're injecting the upper, outer portion of the glute and you take precautions such as taking a shower before hand, and thoroughly wiping the injection area with alcohol (as you always should regardless of where you inject), you shouldn't have issues.  I can't count the number of injections I've done in my glutes and have never had any sort of problem.

Also, I wasn't trying to argue which area of the body is least prone to bacteria that may cause a problem when injecting.  Just that when done right (precautions) bacteria shouldn't be a concern.

like i mentioned above, i do up to 3ml into delts and it doesnt bother me, but again everyone is different. i like the lateral head and will experiment with rear delts soon with my next cycle.

So your admitting this area is generally dirtier than others.  Thats good because it seemed very common sensical to me.    also when you flush its been proven that LOTS of fecal strep becomes airborne.  I pin glutes frequently, yes mucho precautions must be taken.  I will always shower first before I inject that area.

Why do you guys use 22 gauge pins? I only use 25 gauge. I just run the pin under hot water before I inject. The oil goes in alot faster.  I have injected in my bi's, delt's, glutes, thighs upper and lower. If you guys are thinking about injecting into your calves have some body else do it so you can lay down and relax. Other wise it seems to hurt alot more.
