Of the newer generation of Drummers, Kollias of Nile is amazing, very interesting foot technique.

played for over 25 yrs and never got close to Buddy Rich as far as technical expertise. But..... I could out bench him any day of the week.

Bonham is much subtler than most people realize. He really gave Zeppelin a soul vibe which enriched their sound beyond the typical hard rock bands. Palmer was great but poor guy had to cope with Keith Emerson's never ending masturbation. Moon had the energy, no doubt about it, he was a bigger part of The Who's sound people gave him credit for. When he passed, every body suddenly realized.
