No, that is a different character.
Superboy Prime is a character that came from the alternate Earth Prime, was superhero for a while and then turned super villain. He was referred as Superman Prime for a little while due to some copyright issues I think and also when he wore a black suit and aged physically from absorbing the Guardians power.

The Superman Prime Wiggs is talking about here is a character from the DC 1 Million series, the golden Superman in the pic posted a few posts back. I think he is basically the silver age Superman that spent 300,000 years in the sun or something like that and came out to destroy a star during the ending of the 1 million comics.

And yes I'm a comic book geek.
