That Cop is as far from diplomatic and tactful as you can get.

Not someone you would bring to settle a dispute between two parties, it would instead escalate just because of that Police Officer.

He had quite a broken Ego feeling the need to prove himself (Marine!) at the slightest confrontation.

A bigger man (mentally) would have handled that situation without any violent repercussion.
