is it true that barbell rows with the back at a 45 degree angle with the floor his the lower lats better than parallel to the floor barbell rows?

the bodybuilding culture says to train pumpingly high reps for size

that low reps are just "for training joints" as they say

but dont you need low reps for myofibrilar hypertrophy

Yep think about it if you are parallel what are does that hit, more upper back.  45 degree is gonna be lower.
