The government shouldn't be forcing business to do anything. If those companies thought they could actually make money with EV's they would invest in them.

Or forcing up the price of fuel to drive the change, when EVs can travel as far as CVs and hold similar revalue people will change, driving that change through government intervention to push fuel prices up isn't what governments are elected to do, they are supposed to protect the voting publics personal choice, appreciate this isn't the case, this type of behaviour is why most of us fear own governments over any chinaman or Russian.

I have a 36 gallon tank in my truck. Not fun. Only going to feed further inflation on anything delivered by truck. One of my suppliers that has had free freight for over 20 years just announced they are going to start charging. That's about a 10% net increase on invoice.

Biden said the would have a war on oil and look what we have. I don't believe for a second the stats being released by Democrats in an election year are true about the fantastic oil production. If we did we would be a net exporter and there is little being exported.

I wonder if there is kick backs from China to Democrats from all the wind mill parts, electric car battery parts and solar panels they export to the US. China keeps building coal powered power plants to provide electricity to their "green" energy factories. China has to be laughing at us hard.
