People are dropping dead like crazy because of over dosing pain killers. Since I am in my upper 40's I hear people around my age and city, at least one every other week lately.

I think the problem is that most pro BB'ers might not be totally stupid (IQ) but they don't think about the long-term effects of their steroid abuse.

Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA with Rev. Terry Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Afterwards, the family will host a reception at the clubhouse in the Essex Park subdivision.

A native of Virginia, Mat moved to Cobb County in 2008. He is a professional body builder and had won the Mr. America competition in 2003.For the last 2 years, he owned and operated American Body Works (Require Fitness). Mat was also a member of Keystone Church, and loved speaking at Fellowship of Christian Athletes and working with God’s Warriors. He enjoyed gun collecting, and was considered “Our Hero” by his wife and family.

Survivors include:

Wife: Denise DuVall

Mother: Charlotte Anne Bridges DuVall, Haymarket, VA

Father: Barry R. DuVall, Sr., Manassas, VA

Brother: Rich (Rosemary) DuVall, Jacksonville, FL

Sister: Joy Michelle (Patrick) Kenne, London, England

Nephews: Jasper Kenne and Brody DuVall, and “Little Kenne” on the way.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

West Cobb Funeral Home And Crematory in Marietta, GA is in charge of arrangements.

I am amazed on how the term 'survivors' has spread in US parlance. There are rape survivors, pedophilia survivors, racism survivors, bullying survivors, and now people that just happen not have died when a relative passed away

Pretty sure the term "survived by" has been common in obituaries for a long long time... I am quite certain I read it back in I was a kid.
