im reading on history, and damn, the stupid things mankind has done over religion are staggering.

esp in the usa, but to be fair, some ppl have done very smart things to battle the stupid decisions,also in the usa.

the spcalled puritans who founded new england, lol, what were they thinking.

Men need God but bad men choose wrongly and cleave to the devil instead and that is why they end up doing all those bad things you read about in history books.

i didnt necesarly mean religious wars, but the sheer intolerance.

christianity came a long way since the 17th century.thats where the usa was being formed into what it became later on.

the most ridiculous thing is, much of the misery was based and started from the selfish decision of 1 single person, say king of england at one time.

i was also suprised to learn that it was actualy the english who started the slave trade in the usa.

it went even further, some of the founding fathers fought their very own sons to the death because of religious views.

The English have actually been the biggest devils on this planet over the past few centuries as colonial masters over their vast empire. They simply plundered whatever they wanted from native lands to bolster their own treasuries like the Dutch in Indonesia and I suppose they wantonly took young native girls for their sexual needs too.
