South Carolina is really bad for corruption, and these cops have to make their quota on tickets so seems the dude was trying to give out another ticket. Not much you could do there because it's your word against his and the law is on his side unless you had a video of the occurance.

well, there was video, and the sheriff has resigned and said that he was baited into the incident.

He resigned because he knew he was wrong, and didnt want to take the chance of being charged with this. I got nothing against cops if they are legit, we need them sometimes.
