I don`t see anything wrong with what he is wearing.  Looks neat and business casual professional without putting anyone else in an uncomfortable position of having to treat him differently based on the clothes he is wearing.  Its completely appropriate for his profession.

I had that Calculator Watch in Middle School and that was one of my prized possessions at the time.  I remember I always wanted the one that you could change the television with, but it was so hard to find!
