Joel was playing basketball, and tore both quads. Check the scars on both knees.
Fixed
Alq Gurley had a similar injury...

Alq wasn't playing basketball. He was at a basketball game and slipped on a concrete floor.

wow never heard of this guy, epic brutal back, incredible.

inspirational 8)

had his gyno done, but its coming back a bit, i can tell he left some gland tissue in there.

Are you serious ?  He has been voted the best back ever. Ahead of Yates,Haney and Coleman.  In person at 6'3" his entire torso is simply the best developed on any bodybuilder.  Impressive.  He should wear just jeans and enter the O ....

Three words: Mike Christian Syndrome, no matter how hard such guys train those quads, if the muscle fibers aren't there, aint nuttin' can be done.

These guys had gotten too greedy from the gene pool up top, not enough done bottom.

Christian didn't have knee injuries, of which I'm aware.

Bandwagon appeal fallacy.  What the masses think isn't true simply by virtue of "majority rules."  Remember there are a lot of really dumb people out there.  A majority of people believe invisible angels are buzzing about our heads for God's sake.

Joel's back is good.  Very good.  I easily reckon it's among the top 10 of all-time.  But to look at a couple of videos where his stick-legged, water-logged ass has a good lat spread and, a'la that dumbass Flex Wheeler, declare it "best ever" is ... hmm.  How to be polite about this?  A hasty generalization, to say the least.

Let's see Joel get into the kind of condition Dorian and Ronnie did, THEN see how his back compares.
