I'm big on Adonis principles, but I'm thinking about giving that chicken/broccoli, six meals per day garbage a shot, just for the hell of it.

Just eat enough that you don't turn into a fatass. No need for chicken and broccoli shit. It's not rocket science.

I just eat whatever the fuck I want and I'm in the best condition of my life. Even OFF all gear, not even taking HCG, nolva, creatine or anything lol... just be happy and eat normal, this is the most important diet rule in my opinion - enjoy the fucking food you eat. And don't turn down grandma's sweet potato pie or turkey dinners like a stupid twat.

I really resent all the fake dietary advice that people peddle. It's not hard work at all. It's common sense and/or drugs. The sharper and bigger you want to look, the more drugs you inject. Absolutely brain numbingly simple.

I do the same thing, stick to 2000 per day, get my protein and eat fairly clean nutrient dense foods.  Works really well and it's simple.

I just feel like giving the traditional bb diet a shot just so I know for sure.

why bother? you can eat 3 great tasting meals a day and if you stay under your macros, do a little cardio you can lose fat. If you keep carbs low and all the foods natural and unprocessed then you can be lean and healthy too

that article is fucking retarded.. a 180lb, skinny-fat natural who takes that website seriously = cutting and eating 70gs of carbs for 'his first six meals'.. lol. what could possibly go wrong?

Are there any studies that prove the six meal per day theories?  ???

Just seems like since everyone does that shit, there must be something to it?

nope, just bros being bros. If you obsessively focus on nutrient timing and spend your whole day preparing food I guess it distracts you from getting depressed about having nothing else going on in your life other than drugs, training and food.

I can see how the OCD rituals help re-enforce 'good' habits though, its harder to be strict on calorie limits etc when you dont ritualize everything so much

but biologically, no proof at all to back up the 6+ meals broscience

Bingo. I just try to get a little extra protein. Other than that, obviously watch out for too much sodium and foods that are stupidly unbalanced or processed. If you basically cook for yourself you're golden.

I was so scared to deviate away from my strict diet of 10 protein shakes and 6 meals a day, but once I slowly weened myself away from that thinking I carried a heavy amount of shame and embarrassment with me for a while. I've gone as far as completely disregarding my diet all together and eating absolutely anything I wanted, and the results were no where near as disappointing as I thought. But I keep my "diet" in relative check (adhering to what I listed above, which are super loose guidelines any dumbass can follow) and I look and feel great.

I can see how gullible I was before, but I've never engaged in any sort of activity where every single spokesperson said nothing but lies. Bodybuilding figures do nothing but lie, lie, lie and I've never seen any sort of sport "activity" where people were this shady.

Give it a serious try. You might discover additional benefits than "cals in, cals out". Like energy level, motivation, streamlined blood sugar levels that might help you.

Oh cool, good to know you've been there and also done it the simple way and that both worked for you!

Thanks

Just look how infants eat. They double their body weight many times over in their first years without any lifting..
