however, I think one thing stands out that says it might NOT be... The fact they don't have a patsy all ready.  

24 hours after 911, according to Pop Mechanics, the FBI released the file with all 19 hijackers' info, even a passport that survived the crash, right?

24 hours after a bombing with dozens of cameras on it - they haven't released squat for blame.  they are actually asking for video, and maybe looking incompetent.  

I tend to lean to this really being a random attack by one or more people... They're downplaying it as much as possible to avoid looking incompetent.  

So while I tend to smell bullshit all over things, and that drill is odd, certainly... the fact they have no clue who did it tells me it might be real.

i think they know exactly who did it but want to see how the public reacts and what kind of info the public can come up with on the person. If the public thinks they're the ones who basically caught the person with camera's, facebook etc. It's that much easier for the Hierarchy to get public approval of more camera's, more check points and microchips.
