Friends and family will talk about for the first year or so.  After that, it will be like you never existed.    Sad but true.  Ashes to ashes... dust to dust.

If this were true my wife has some explaining to do. How did she manage to produce two children who look more like me than her? It's a mystery!

I actually know of three guys I worked with in the past three years that have died from heart attacks working out. The age range was 44 to 54. Two of the three were in fantastic shape.

At some point you have to realize you're not bullet proof. Youth gets away with using bodybuilding drugs and shooting who knows what is really in the vial with a syringe. Health is never thought about. When you get into your 50 I hope health is a major consideration concerning training.

Like you Prime I enjoy this site. It makes me laugh but it also makes me hope this isn't a representative of what the youth of today is like. Bodybuilding is a real sub culture of a sport that does tend to interest some misfit people. If you ever doubt this walk through the Olympia expo and tell me you didn't drop into a freak show of fans.

I have grandchildren who are probably about the same age as some of the younger folks here. Judging from what they post on their Facebook pages, I would say that not all youth are like the youth on Getbig.

There was a time when I wanted to be one of those muscle freaks....I got over it.

Some folks train too hard and ignore the symptoms and causes of poor health. I one pays attention, there are usually warning signs before you have a heart attack and die from it, but not always.

death happens when you are truly sick of life deep down inside

keep your purpose strong as you can

This is heavy stuff Falcon. I will keep the above advice and the heme iron advice in mind. Actually, I have reduced the quantity of meat I eat by a lot lately. I not only eat meat less often, I eat smaller portions. -Can't give it up all at once, it would probably put my body into shock!  ;D

My brother died over a year ago he was 53! Hit by a car! Life is short try and enjoy every second of it!

Good point! Anyone can go at anytime.

Sorry about your brother. That had to be very difficult for those who loved him.

you've heard of Dr. Kenneth Cooper, right? he was the "running/aerobic guru" form the 1970's and 80's that told everybody to run, run, run and about 15 years ago or so he basically said something like this... "anyone who exercises for more that an hour or so per week, is not doing it for health reasons"

he said this after he "discovered" that these "health nuts" that he knew (guys who ate very clean diets and exercised nearly everyday) were dying at relatively young ages from heart attacks and cancer, and he attributed this to "over-training"

I don't think I am in any danger of dying from over training.  :D

Prime, you seriously could have decades in you. Don't waste them. Fill them with fine wines, sea views and trips to Machu Picchu. Don't just wake up, put on a pot of coffee, and log into getbig to see whom booty is currently e-dating and is attacking the last guy she e-dumped, who has now become her e-stalker.. Or to look at Tbombz's ass - fun as that is.

Honestly though, make sure you do something to surprise yourself once in a while. Life in the old dog yet, eh. No maudlin stuff like this.

Exactly Ronnie, my dad 2 years ago, after being in a Nursing home for 5 years. You never know when you are going to go down.

How old was your dad? I thought you were a fairly young fellow.

Good advice. I am trying not to waste my life away. Machu Picchu might have to wait for awhile. My wife is not healthy enough to travel right now and I am not going to leave home while I travel alone. So I fill my time with posts about Booty's romantic adventures, Tbombz butt photos (what was he thinking when he posted those photos?). It is fun to see where his ass is going to show up next....probably not for him though. ;D

I good with the fine wines and sea views.

Do you still consume dairy?

When I was at a prostate cancer meeting last Monday night, the speaker was a dietician who is also a vegan. She maintains that dairy is particularly bad for folks when it comes to cancer and heart disease. I am just not quite ready to become a cow or a sheep, spending all my time eating grass.  ;D She was big on soy. I read where soy grows tits on some men. I am not interested in looking like a female.

what are you 95?

I was just thinking....not to be morbid, but I am old compared to most folks on Getbig. I  think some folks here view me as  if I am something like a Pedo playing in the kiddies sandbox (flame on).

What I wondered was, do I make a difference? Do I bring something valuable to the Getbig  forums? If I died tomorrow, would any of you give a rip? Of course, you probably would never know because I would simply disappear from these forums. Clearly, I have no claim to fame like, say, Nasser or some others who have passed and are either remembered or ridiculed here.

Before you all jump on this like flies on shit, keep in mind everyone either gets old or dies young. I am not dying BTW, in case you were hoping I was. Still, my remaining time in this life could certainly be a lot shorter than some folks here. I am not looking for sympathy....everyone dies sooner or later. I accept my fate and I am not looking for preferential treatment. So please do not cut me any slack as I suspect you won't.

Perhaps I am just having a moment of melancholia. Like most folks, I would like to believe I made a difference to someone, somewhere. I know I will be missed by my family and friends, but will I be missed in any larger sense. Before you kill me with your responses, I hope you will give this some thought, because there but for you, go I.
