Only thing hanging clothes outside they are stiff when they dry.

That usually means there is residual detergent remaining...

If you took the time to periodically clean the lint out of the machine and vent it would dry in about 40 minutes

intresting

Oh yes…a dryer has to be maintained…lint filter cleaned and exhaust cleaned…some washing machines have a lint filter that has to be cleaned too.

Use a water softening agent with the wash cycle...one of the cheapest is Washing Soda, or "Calgon"... Calgon is more expensive. These products bind with the minerals in water so the detergent doesn't react and form a crusty residue.

Also an extra rinse helps too.

If you have a "Water Softner" machine there is no need to use soda or Calgon.
Some apartment/flat blocks also soften the water provided to their residents.

Try using a drying rack in a place like this, your clothes will just stay wet forever and then get moldy.

maybe you should've waited to knock up a chick until you were more emotionally mature and financially stable.

In summer here with the rain which can last for up to three months and factor in over 90 per cent in humidity, you can't get clothes or bed linen and towels dry. A dryer is essential. The rest of the year is fine to go without a dryer.

Do you live in the United States?...If yes...Sears is the place to get major appliances.  Low to middle price.

Do you have gas in the room where you want the dryer?...If yes...A gas model.

Edit: don't overlook good local dealers in second hand major appliances.

No decent broad wants to wear wrinkled, linty clothes.

Pregnant broads can be nuts because of the hormones. Just let her run the dryer next time and don't worry a bout the $. You'll be much better off ... as you learned the hard way this time.

Tell me about it. My adopted daughter used to work as a bartender. We knew something was wrong when she  burst into tears because it was almost 2:30am, and she was trying to clear the bar of a bunch of drunks, and no one would listen to her. Usually, she would just physically throw them out. LITERALLY! This time she burst into tears instead... so unlike her. A few days later, she realized she was pregnant.

Then one day she ordered a McGriddle, ...and they forgot the cheese. She burst into tears. lol  poor thing.  :'(
