LOL its not vigilantism if they are hired to protect individuals....

so you think a person who owns a gun for protection is a vigilante?

so vigilantes can't be paid ?

I'm done playing semantic games with you

there are many other examples of the same concept as espoused by LaPierre

you can choose to believe whatever you'd like

Aside from this particular part of the letter you should look at his point as I think it's the most salient point in the document and one which I've said before and (obviously) agree with 100%

I think it's time you dropped this nonsense about protecting our "rights." Be honest and tell it like it is. The reason you're opposed to background checks has absolutely nothing to do with the Second Amendment. It's about making it as easy as possible for everyone to own a gun. More guns means more profits for the gun companies, and that's who you really represent.

hey fundy libtard

that's exactly the position the NRA supported in the 1960's when blacks were encouraged to arm themselves against the violent actions of racists

whenever private citizens put themselves in a position of doing the work of law enforcement that is a form of vigilantism

tough shit if you choose not to believe it

that's actually another sign that you are a fundy libtard

thats fine and it was just as ridiculous then as it is now when you try and spout it off.

hahaha so taking steps to defend yourself is doing the work of law enforcement?

we should all be hapless individuals dependent upon the police?

hahahaha do you hear yourself?

I certainly hear that you have no cogent response to anything I've said

tell me why I should put your opinion on this topic ahead of a gun owner, lifetime member of the NRA and safety instructor for the NRA

I find it funny he`s knocking the profit of the gun companies because as a gun shop owner he would have made a profit had the background check bill went through. Sounds bitter he`s not getting a bigger slice of the pie.

Polls smolls, according to a recent PBS poll 94% of people polled want the gun laws to stay the same.
