What he forgets is, Mother Nature has her own rules too, and they can be harsh. famine, lack of rain, too much rain, too much snow, hurricanes, beasts, when to plant, when to harvest, what is or isn't poisonous...
You play by "her" rules, one tends to survive, you don't you'll be dead like that guy that went to Alaska and tried living in an abandon bus, and had no food.

"heaven on earth" is not necessary in order for the nature of reality to be that of freedom
the idea that freedom is an ability to do WHATEVER one desires is faulty. the word for that is omnipotence, not freedom. freedom is the ability to do anything that will-power can achieve without supernatural powers to break "laws of physics".
you need to think through your arguments before you make them.
