Is the timing/sound off in the video? As in the video he starts his press well before the press command was given. Props for the huge raw lift, just stating that pressing before the ref gives the press command should get you red lighted. Hopefully just the sound is off sync with the video.

Yeah, that was causing all types of trouble, but it was a problem with the stream that folks were pulling the video off of.

Also to Old School Lifter, it was an official SPF meet so it goes down in their record books, I'm sure they'll be the standard online back and forth about judging, etc.... but in general, everyone's been pretty positive about the #722 lift. It was a grinder, but everything looks nice about it.

Not sure what he weighed in at, but he's #320 ish.

it's still a gym lift, pause is too short.
It's an incredible feat for sure, but a gym lift.

And a 178kg (392pounds) Upper body. Might be the biggest upper body in the world? Same age as me with a upperbody more then twice my entire bodyweight lol.

And I guess he has to be Off at the moment also since I assume they're tested. That needs to be taken into consideration since Im guessing soto isn't drugtested and can just add a shitton of "strenght aas" last minute.

What's the point of these skinny twink spotters? It's not like they can help. If the guy unracked the weights and his arms just collapse, they aren't going to stop 600+ pounds from crushing and killing him. They are better off having spotter bars of something to prevent the weight from crushing him.
