I think all approaches are fine, since they force you to keep your total cals in check. Whatever fits your psyche best. For some that might be keto, carb cycling, intermittent fasting etc...

For TA:Do you use an APP to track how many calories you eat? Or some website? Or software?Do you just eyeball your portion sizes? Or do you weigh it all out?
I use USDA site as they are the most accurate or use information on packages as that is most accurate. I use a scale and obviously you don`t have to use a scale for things like Fast Food. Couldn`t be any easier.
