MENDENHALL - 1991 Nationals
« on: January 08, 2017, 05:32:57 AM »
After a few setbacks, Matt came back with a vengeance in '91, bringing perhaps his best package ever. Sadly for him it was the most stacked nationals lineup ever.

Lots of hype surrounding this guy and he never really impressed me.  Looks better just standing there than when he poses.  Meh.

I rated him. Decent physique. Nicely balanced. Poor poser and not very social. Could have gone further but had 'issues' in terms of addictive personality.

This was the Mendenhall version that brought the comment from Flex Wheeler to Cormier that when he came out onstage at the 91 Nationals, it "was like, boom, Gunther!"
