Warriors are making a great push, Howard will NOT be a laker.

His doing them a favour by telling them so as a courtesy he will do a sign a trade.

Im still thinking he will go to Houston though.

"lakers bracing for the worst"

what can be worse then last season?

look at there team

Nash- old as fuck
Gasol- cant play with dantoni's system and is past his prime.
Kobe- no comment
Artest- old and slow
this team will be a 35% team next season.
with Mike D as coach there in hell, thats a old as fuck roster right there. howard is smart to leave, wheres the future in the lakers, even the city is broke and dirty as fuck (no offence LA residents)

The Rockets also have sign-and-trade pitches planned, sources said, with Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik sure to be offered to L.A. in exchange for Howard, which could theoretically furnish the Lakers with a point guard in Lin, who played his best basketball under D'Antoni, as well as a top defensive big man in Asik. Yet, it remains to be seen if the Lakers are willing to bend their sign-and-trade stance, since both Lin and Asik possess contracts that stretch beyond the 2013-14 season.

Houston would covet a sign-and-trade arrangement, if it was fortunate enough to land Howard, so it could try to follow up that blockbuster acquisition by trying to sign Howard's good friend Josh Smith, whom the Rockets long have coveted.

This doesnt make sense arce1988,
he needs lin there, Lin is howards gateway to china,
fuck the sign and trade, his a free agent, just sign there, lin is overrated but he can play, howard should ask for lin to stay or tell houston to fuck off.
Trust me Lin, Howard and Harden are awesome.

arce1988- Here you are again going out of your way attempting to make Kobe look bad.  Once again you have failed.

What Kobe said to Dwight was the truth.  The problem is that Dwight would rather be a big fish in a small pond than just another talented player in LA.  Kobe also said that if Dwight stays it needs to be his choice and not the result of someone "selling him" on being a Laker.  Kobe is right again.

I think Dwight is mentally weak and a bad place for LA to invest 100 plus million dollars.  Dwight is leaving town and I couldn't be happier.  Most Laker fans that I know agree with me.  Fuck Dwight Howard.

Lin would be a huge asset in garnering the huge Asian fanbase in LA, the West Coast and the Pacific Rim. Lin the player? It would be constant highlights of him being dunked on, his shots blocked, and his pocket being picked.

Ok let me put this in perspective.

Is Howard weak mentally? fuck yeah
Is Howard overrated? Fuck yeah
Im not arguing for or against howard and bryant, the whole team is useless.

Is Kobe a great teammate? from reports and Phil jackson book the answer is no
Kobe rubs the teammates the wrong way, only the losers side with him as nobody wants them. Howard has options and a upside, so ofcourse he will bounce. Who the fuck wants Artest or Nash?

I agree Fuck Dwight howard, i cannot list you any of his accomplishments.
I say Fuck Kobe too, all i see is a ball hog, a year older with a blown out achilles..even though he had a great season, im sure he will struggle this coming year, i can fucken guarantee it.

Actually Lin isn't a bad player at all, coaches just have to trust and have confidence in him and just let him play

He gets his pocket picked too much...from what I've seen he turns the ball over a lot.
He's cool headed (he's no AI, and his skills are not that of AI either).
If coaches don't have confidence in him, there is a reason.

Good point Parker.

Howard is turnover prone too.

It's Jim Buss's fault for hiring Dantonio as HC.  He hired a coach with a system that never considers the center.  Kind of lame.  Sounded like they hired him because of Nash.  Nash won't ever be able to play a full season.  Gasol checked out two seasons ago.  He needs a new team to re-energize him.  Lots of issues with the Lakers.

That's all you need in a big market like this and big games---Lin turning the ball over. And then the press questioning why he is at point, then the Kobe situation, it's just bad. If Lin was better at ball handling, less turnover prone, I could see it. But he is not.

Great news for the Lakers, Howard is overrated and in decline. He hasn't improved his game since he entered the league.

Let some other team make a big mistake and sign him.

You guys don't get it.  Dwight is a cancer.  No team will be better with him. Teams should just let this loser sit idle for a year.  Lakers must be kicking themselves for getting fucked by Stern for the CP III deal and getting stuck with Howard instead.
