You have to think about it like this. Being on steroids has a "bad" image, if something is "legal" only truly meaning not banned yet it somehow justifies the reasoning.. Steroids are illegal therefore "bad" OTC is legal therefore "ok" and "legal". So it would be ok to claim "natty". I've taken katanadrol v2 which is a pro hormone but since it was not banned at the time it makes me natty. But we know that's not the true case
No, anything to do with masculinity and physical strength is regarded as bad. Okay so steroids are illegal, fair enough. But what about creatine and even protein powder? Most soft and weak people would raise an eyebrow and have some comment to make if you tell them you use creatine. "Isn't that a steroid? Won't that give you mood swings?"
Most people see the pursuit of strength and muscle as a negative thing. They don't want to be intimidated by somebody who is physically bigger and stronger than they are.
Steroids, testosterone, creatine, protein, weightlifting = bad.
Female hormone replacement therapy, vegetarianism, jogging = good
It is the emasculation of society. Look at young men these days. Skinny jeans? Fake tans? Unisex hairdressers?
