Ok I think your approach should be as follows:
1) don't give her the stuff back
2) call the police when she comes and you tell her this...she'll invariably get angry in response to the news, and the police can document this and control her
3) tell your neighbors about her so that they can call the police in your stead
4) gather evidence and file a restraining order (posts on getbig may or may not qualify as evidence)
5) install a closed-circuit camera

If it was her stuff before you got together, you really are better off handing it back. I understand your viewpoints but at the end of this day this was her property before you got together and probably cannot be considered a joint asset.

She is a woman scorned, so she will use anything she can to get to you. She will be a complete cnut to you but the moment she steps into court or a police station, she will be able to turn on the water works and you'll be fucked. No-one will believe your word against that of a woman in tears.

Maybe your country is different but here, if someone has lived in the house/apt/ or in your case shanty, and has belongings there, you legally have to evict them. So, the cops would not arrest her and she COULD legally kick in the door to gain entry, regardless of if she is on the lease or not. Better check on what the rules are in your ghetto
