got me there. i don't see vegetables as very useful in terms of how my body looks so i don't waste my time with it.
In the long run, they are necessary for health reasons and have many benefits.  Plus they are so versatile and taste great.

I don`t fault anyone for how they choose to eat.  I am beyond all of that nonsense really.  It ceases to amuse me.  I do take issue though when someone says it won`t work or that its not healthy or any other wrong information.

All that matter is that you are happy with the result.

I have tried nearly all methods and given each fair time as I have been doing this for many years with no breaks at all.   The worst time ever was "eating clean" and low carbohydrates for months.  At one point I even went down to around 1400-1600 calories with some cardio.  This was years ago.  The smallest of weights crushed me, I looked the worst that I ever did and I felt horrible every day.  I logged it all on MuscleMayhem for months.

It was not the approach for me at all. My protein was super high at 300 grams-350 for months as well.  I have never become so weak in my life since lifting on that type of diet.  I will NEVER do that again.

LOL and what you said about multivitamins recently?
There is nothing wrong with them if you use them correctly as intended.  For the most part they are not necessary, but I find that getting a little extra Zinc is a very good thing, especially if you are a lifetime Natural.

Its not a requirement though.

I agree with you in regards to your diet, not really necessary. In my case I do need them (fruit is not included in my current diet). I use multivitamins plus  zinc and vitamin c as extra.

This is my current diet, very happy with results, strength, motivation, etc. Funny how people are affected in different ways with same thing.
Can you post a link to your diet logs on MuscleMayhem, I am not familiar with that site?

Im with Adonis on that one, when I was eating straight protein, minimal carbs, and lots of veggies, I had zero strength, and I got skinnyfat. I have to have more than 100g carbs/day or I cannot function.

I didn`t do that for very long at all though.  I went about 5 months at 1800-2200 and then about 2 months ultra low.  The whole time was horrible.

You will have to use the Wayback Machine to find it.  If I get bored one day I will pull it up.

It might be that you did not eat enough of fats as I have nuts and peanut butter in my daily diet.

I definitely did not, not then...., I added no fats of any kind, just straight chicken breast, egg whites, broccoli, and cauliflower.

But I'd rather just eat some complex carbs than completely switch to protein and fat... I keep strength better, have more energy, and just generally feel better and happy when I'm eating a normal amount of carbs.

Beef, Chicken, Pork, and then Fish.

I've slowly moved away from pork the last few years, my constitution doesn't handle it as well as it did in my youth, but a nice sausage and pepper hero, or pulled pork dish still makes it in every few weeks. Never been a big fish fan.

for staying lean over the year you only have to watch your gluten and milk products intake, avoid them most of the time and you won't need no diet come summer time, oh and bodybuilders usually overeat on everything especially believing that overrated protein intake bogus, there's so much excess water on people from all the whey crap, bread, milk that u wouldn't believe

Yesterday I ate 12oz of boiled chicken, 8 cups of random mixed veggies, 2 cups of berries, and 1 cup of greek yogurt.

Hunger was my companion yesterday also.
