I was amused when Kerry kept using the "war in the classic sense" thing.  Classic political bullshit.

it's an act of war if you live in Syria and bombs land on your head.
It's not an act of war if you're sitting in tampa playing video games delivering surgical strikes on tactical targets for 2 weeks then moving on, taking a vacation, whatever.

Same way someone steps on your toe in the club and you shove him, and he falls into a table of drinks.
ALl you did was shove a rude, intrusive threat.  Dude, on the other hand, has a back full of glass and a busted head from the fall lol.

it's an act of military aggression, and it's an act of war if you send a piece of paper along with it, right?  lol...

Tony, it was the thread posted below that made me realize that you are just slow and I also realized there is no value to me in wasting my time trying to explain things to you.   I've just completely lost interest in trying to help you get smarter.  It's pointless and there is nothing in it for me.

Within the context of our current foreign policy and affairs in the middle east, what would a few extra bombs be?

It's not too late.  I hope the president doesn't make this mistake.  Russia might take an active part in hostilities.

"The use of force against a sovereign nation is only possible as self-defense — and Syria hasn't attacked the United States — and on approval of the U.N. Security Council," Putin said. "Those who do otherwise place themselves outside the law."

Meanwhile, the Kremlin said Russia was boosting its naval presence in the Mediterranean Sea, moving in warships into the area and stoking fears about a larger international conflict if the United States orders airstrikes.
