Bob, I think he was asking for a explanation to what you actually do? He has solid points.

Big and Goat are spot-on, but I do intend to reply to Chad's anti-FBB-porn rant in MD from a few months ago.

Why would tthe IFBB give a shit? This crime wasn't committed at an IFBB event, show, expo, or anything remotely connected with it.

Of course the IFBB wouldn't.....

it's because the IFBB is a scam & a joke of an organization.  No different than the money making scma Crag was trying to build.

If these two were in the NFL....who do you think would have to step up & greet the press?

so just what are youi expecting to come fom the IFBB? Why would they even comment on two former members that denounced the org, and voluntarily left the federation to start their own?

how many years were they dues paying members?  i wouldnt expect much but perhaps an acknowledgement that they were members at one time.  other than that ..zero should be expected.

Chic,

I dont know you personally, but I believe regardless of your competition schedule or placings, you genuinely want to do more for the athletes.
My wife and I have been competing and involved in bodybuilding for 3 years or so now. She has rapidly advanced to national level competitions. We have friends that recently turned pro and compete nationally also. Myself, I run an automobile dealership and earn a  good living outside of thinking I would ever be pro. I say all of this to say that I am amazed how little money goes back to the athletes.
Many people have encouraged my wife to do things that would probably aid in her size and etc. however, wtf for? theres no money and her opportunities to get shoots and things from her beautiful physique are better now than gambling pushing the limits for a procard and no purses.
Men are in the same boat too. the fitness industry and supplement companys make money hand over fist but give nothing back. how hard would it be to insure that every pro competitor in a show receives some compensation? I may be blind, but I feel that profits that are generated out there the bottom man in the olympia could still be paid?
Rambling. I think Chic has the professionalism and attitude, from what I have seen to atleast be an active rep. (fighting a losing battle). A friend that is a retired pro told we one time that the sport will never give the athlete the respect they deserve because they can get the next wanna be mr. o to sponsor the products or do the photoshoot for 1/2 the money or most the time for nothing. vanity is our nemisis.

It's been established that they were pro bodybuilders/ fitness competitors in the IFBB....now what? Why is this relevant in any way shape, or form?

The funniest part is that he defends the IFBB. The IFBB does not pay him shit for his efforts. Yet he will defend the IFBB for what? With all due respect he is a pro bodybuilder that does not compete.  ???
