But in a way it is..

But its also a complete waste of some people's lives. A regretful situation that personally I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Running from the law who want to charge you for murder.. fark.. that is suicide material.

so we know the warrant is out for him but does the whole thing not smack of a "crime of passion" with very little thought put into any attempted cover up?

If it is the girl who lived with them, they should have instantly known they would have been questioned due to that association. At the time of this initital questioning it would be unlikely they would be suspects , the cops would just have been covering the bases.

IF the incindrey that was used to start the fire was bought on Titus's credit card, then surely this is the most ammatuer move of the show.

Finally, if they ran, then why?? The whole thing smells of a freak out and lack of thought if it's true.

So, do you think that some time spent watching the Discovery Channel, or even CSI, could have led to Titus avoiding these school boy errors?

Anyway, to what you said.

Well you can take it two ways, basically extremes. Either it was a monumental freakout or a very clear decision that their guilt would quickly be established and that 1/2 a mile off the road would suffice to buy them enough time to get out of the country.

I'd say number 2, given the facts.

Basically I would say they would have deduced given the circumstances that clearly they would be spending some time in jail no matter whether they immediately presented themselves at the PD with the body or if they ran. Couple that with the fact that 1 or both of them would have a disposition regarding jail along the lines of "I would rather die" and you have yourselves two desperate people willing to try running.

Titus wouldn't be the first person to be charged with a crime he didn't commit - whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty?

The same people who are finding morbid pleasure in the indescribable torment and pain of another human being are probably the same people who got their kicks pulling the wings off flies when they were children.

I don't know what really happened, YOU don't know what happened and the police don't know what happened...

I'm trying to remember Craig the way he was the night I met him - a fierce competitor who lit up the stage and enjoyed meeting me as much as I did meeting him.

If he has indeed ran, which seems to be the case then very little doubt is going to be cast on whether he is innocent.

Whether that is correct or not, its a logical human decision to make.
