residue - fuck you. We earned our honor and serve with pride. I have friends that gave their life so you can live in this country and enjoy its freedoms. Uberman - I have a beard now and did during certain periods of my deployment especially if we were going to be interacting with the civies. Now active duty non-deployed then no facial hair would be permitted. I actually thought his hair was the first give away. I and many fellow retired service men have beards (or some type of facial hair) but I can't recall one of them having long head hair.

Military set me up for success. I was able to get a degree, outstanding training and the experience to truly see what kind of man I am. Most think they are a certain way but you will never truly know until you are put in a situation where you need to make life or death decisions.

BTW fucktard, I actually have two degrees. An AA and a BS in separate fields and am currently employed at Microsoft as a technical specialist. I know for a fact my service on the resume was a factor in being chosen over other candidates. Oh and I bet I make more than your ass does in 2yrs. So peace bitch.

There is truth to this. Not saying all marines are like this, but most.
I had 2 classmates from HS join the marines, both were losers wit few options before they joined and both are still losers to this day.
