I thought she was good in that interview.

The "laughing" was insignificant.

Holt shot back: “You haven’t been to the border.”

I think she meant the government has been to the border.  The border patrol is there everyday. 

Her going to the border would accomplish nothing.  It would just be a photo op.

Going to where the immigrants are coming from and seeking to solve the reason they are coming makes sense to me.

I can't stand her personally but I'm not going to make up nonsense about her.

Just because you are interpreting her responses differently doesn't mean anyone is making up anything.  If the transcript isn't clear enough, you should watch the clip.  It's not a good look. 

Why do you think Newsmax has zero credibility and on what basis do you compare them to CNN?

Going to the source or the border isn't mutually exclusive - she's had plenty of time to do both.

She won't go the border because there would be increased press coverage.

Increased press coverage would expose the situation more.

An honest media would demand this.

If you are in charge of fixing something, you need to see it first hand.

I did watch the clip.  Kept waiting for the hysterical laugh she does...waiting...waiting ...

Here is the headline:  "VP Harris Laughs When Asked Why She Hasn't Visited Southern Border"

It says "laughs."  She laughed.  She laughed in response to the question.  So the headline is entirely accurate.  You were looking for the "hysterical laugh," but that's not what happened and not what the headline said. 

Regarding "mediabiasfactcheck.com," you actually let some hack tell you that Newsmax has "zero credibility just like CNN"?  You should actually read their site (or watch their TV shows) and make up your own mind. 

The site you referenced doesn't sound credible at all.  Here is the first thing that popped up when I searched the website's founder Dave Van Zandt:
