What type of visa are you staying in thailand on for 4 years? And how to sustain yourself financially?

I've been to thailand several times, going again in january.

I want to eventually live there for a while but it seems hard to get visa.

I think maybe marry a local girl to get visa?

I came in on a 6 month tourist visa, during that time I did a TEFL course and when that finished I taught English for 2 years on a work permit, right now I'm back on a tourist visa, 6 months, double entry, that's finished in February, I'll get the Ed visa and go to school to learn how to read and write Thai.

It's not a problem to get a visa, you could just do what I did...

You can get a marriage visa but I would never marry someone just for a visa.
