hah I remember this one, the mom actually had youtube videos on how to be a good parent.
no dad, of course.
The woman is an idiot, proof how religion doesn't equal morality. Just goes to show how for many people religion is just a hiding place for deviants. Any decent person would have accepted the speeding fine or agreed to go to court. This woman is a failure as a religious person, as a human being and as a Mother.
http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/05/21776222-new-mexico-police-officer-suspended-after-shooting-at-minivan-full-of-kidsNew details are emerging about the driver involved in a wild pursuit with New Mexico state police. It began when Oriana Farrell of Tennessee and her five children were pulled over for speeding near Taos. After arguing about the ticket, Farrell drives off, and is pulled over again.
The officer demands that Farrell get out, leading to a chaotic scene.
Since the story first broke, everyone's been asking about mom Oriana Farrell. On Monday, videos she posted herself on YouTube have surfaced.
One video shows Farrell and three of her children dancing to an original rap she recorded.
"Author of your journey, maker of mine," raps Farrell in one of the videos. Another video shows Farrell offering her philosophy on parenthood.
"We are trying to make our way in this world," she said in another video. The single mom of 5 sings about her struggles with money.
"With the cash in my stash, need the EBT for food," she sings. She also talks about her belief in a higher power.
"Devotion is the potion that holds my locomotion," Farrell raps.
She used to attend the Harding School of Theology -- a Memphis seminary -- friends there call her a "godly woman." "I can't be a daddy. Not ever trying to fill daddy's shoes," said Farrell in one video. Alongside her home-made hip-hop, Farrell talks openly about parenthood. "But I can step up in the mama area, and make sure I'm being the best darn mama I can be," she said. With 5 kids, Farrell talks about the struggle to make them all feel special.
"Really it doesn't take a lot of money. It does take a time investment though," she said in a video. Recalling a busy year at school, Farrell talks about how she made time for each of her kids. "For a semester or two everybody got to alternate a night when they slept in my bed," she said.
But now the mom who prides herself on being a good parent faces 5 counts of child abuse -- one for each of her 5 children in the van that day.
One of those children -- her 14 year old son -- also faces charges of battery on an officer, and resisting arrest.
"What we chasing is papers, never mind the vapors," Farrell raps in one YouTube video.
Those rap lyrics -- "never mind the vapors" -- state police are also charging Farrell for possessing two marijuana pipes.
