Yes, she was. She has a twin sister "Sherry" who used to work out with her at my gym. Sherry is more of a cardio-queen. They were both very attractive back in the day, and no, Sheila had a very feminine voice. She was only competing in local shows at the time.
I was actually just kind of looking around on YT to see if she had gotten to the National Level and was surprised she actually made it into the Ms. Olympia.
It's funny how the little town I live in now has so many high-caliber athletes with celebrity status in it.
Ed Corney works out at my gym every day, Mon through Sunday. Richard Perez trainer to the UFC Diaz brothers hangs out on the weekends, Dan Freeman, who is an ex-pro who now owns Fight Labs supplements trains in my gym on Sunday nights.
On and on the list goes. Crazy shit.
