My kid is 16 now. Plays baseball. Weighs 165lbs, 275lb Bench, 420lb squat, 410lb DL = 1105. Yes, I'm proud.

Same here. Our phones all upload pics to Dropbox immediately, and whenever the DSLR's memory card is plugged into the computer it also syncs with Dropbox. You'll never regret taking millions of pics. Even just a month later my girl's already changing quite a bit. These will be invaluable when she's older and we look back at them.

Everyone with a infant or kids should buy a dslr with a good 50mm 1.4 lens or 35mm. The quality on the pics even on the cheapest dslrs are so good now  and its cheap to order high quality prints. My apartment is filled with huge pictures with frames of my kid and dog.

I remember those early days fondly, unfortunatley they really do fly over and your left wondering where they went.
Have a daughter 4 and son 6. They gave my life a direction and meaning. Not to mention christmas is nearly here, the greatest day of the year for those of us with kids.
