To get an INVITE, you need to apply - many apply, only some get invited.

If you do not apply that you want to compete at the 2013 Arnold, you won't possibly get invited.

Hence, why Erin Stern, #2 ranked Figure competitor right now, did not get an invite for the 2013 Arnold. Because she DIDN'T APPLY for one, as she is taking a break.

Arnolds has been bashing todays bodybuilders how they dress like clowns, too big, lousy posers etc...

Last year, when asked who his current favorite bodybuilder was, he said that he has more respect for female bodybuilding physique than men cause they looked more proportional , well presented muscular athletes without the Gut

and this year he takes female BB out of the show

Imagine in 1972, "Joe Weiders sports festival" (Mr.O ) with 50 events trying to get attention from fans besides man's BB ! guys like Zane, Sergio,Columbu,Oliva whould have been like "joe are you crazy ?"

It does help Arnolds name in manstream though so Kudos for him.

Bodybuilding is killing itself...
Many people come for the other events, and many who never would even have interest in bbing go and some even get exposure to the bbers.

Remember, the quality is not like the 90s, especially when you have guys like Branch winning. If guys like the 2007 version of Wolf or an in shape McMillian or Rhoden were winning, then more people would take notice.

It's hard to call this one - everyone is saying Wolf but Pakulski has got a great chance having taken some time off, and Roelly's been improving this last year or two as well. Shawn Rhoden also will make top four so any one of that lot will win.

supposedly roelly is out,still the show this year on paper looks better than last year,last year only dex from top 6 at Olympia,this year you have wolf,and rhoden plus pakulski who was second here last year,and also centapena and branch,who is former 2 time winner.
