Your question is insinuating that it was the military that won last time... It wasn't... It was a side that included "A" military and citizens.

Not to mention that its vastly differing scenarios as well. Implying the outcome of a modern civil war would be the same because they are both "civil wars" makes little to no sense.

Dude what do you mean, other cultures. Do you have any idea how the US culture is viewed elsewhere in the world?

Hey there you pompous ass.  Who the fuck cares how another nation of slaves views us?  We are a free country - we are a free country because we were ARMED and defeated our oppressors.  And yes, in the near future, we may free ourselves from the current oppression AGAIN.

Meanwhile you just do whatever your masters say, ok....?

Do you mean the rest of the western world??. The US is basically the only western country with this odd gun culture/law (your govt shafts you constantly, what more could it do to you??). YEMEN, one of the dodgy nations that US, and other nations are rightfully watchful of, is the next highest country for gun ownership, and it has 1/2 the rate of ownership. You guys have 88 guns per 100 people. Most of your guns are in the hands of only 35% of the US population, and that 35odd% is buying more of them. Whats up with that. Now most other countries say its fine to own a rifle or shotgun for hunting and sport shooting, but there are licences like for driving a car, and you can't carry them round in public places for safety reasons.
The stats show that US whites are twice as likely to kill themselves/suicide with their own guns, than be killed in a gun homicide. And just having one in the home massively ups the rate of someone in that home killing themselves or a loved one in the home, when compared to homes without guns. Yes in other countries you may get robbed, but you go home alive!

You also have no ability to overthrow your government... The next time your government gets out of line, you let me know what those sticks are going to do for you.

Yeah..America is not a military dictatorship. In this unlikely scenario, the military would not be hostile towards the populace. You think the right wingers on this board are crazy? 2/3 of the military are like minded.

The right to keep and bear arms as defined by the our constitution is not solely intended for overthrowing a tyrannical gov't. Think of it as an indelible right.

lol, a few things have changed since the 1700's.  Kicking out a few poms a couple of hundred years ago hardly equates to modern day citizens overthrowing the American Government.

2 "Revolutions" in Aussie history:

- The Eureka rebellion 1854, 27 dead + unknown number of Chinese gold diggers ?
- Castle Hill convict rebellion 1804, 15 dead & 9 executed

No other real shit 4 the last 160 years, booooring !!!!!!

300 million potentially armed citizens can damn sure do it.

If you're too scared to fight for your rights, then that's on you.
