A question to you all. I've had difficulties not voicing my opinion in the past in jobs. 99.9% of the time, I'm smarter than my bosses. I point out hypocritical policy enforcement, develop more efficient ways to do business and don't kiss ass or cower in the presence of the boss. As you can imagine, it doesn't go over too well and I get the "uppity negro" moniker attached to me. I understand that because I'm no longer in the Air Force and have the system to protect me, I'll have to be more covert. I guess you can call it "politics". How do you gents deal with situations like this? I can't go Getbig on them anymore. It doesn't translate well in real life. Do the exact opposite of what you've been doing in your other jobs. Be the quiet guy and never talk shit about anyone. Use words like "that's a good point" or "thanks I never thought of that" to your boss no matter what he says...
