i think this is key, sugars are the devil and cancer causing
so if you have kidney problems just eat ALOT MORE MEAT AND DRINK WATER
I have some experience with this since my wife has kidney disease. Small quantities of high quality (meat based) protein is good for the kidneys and as component of a healthy diabetic diet. It is best to eat a mix of protein meaning some plant based and some meat or fish based. The key to healthy eating is to eat a balanced diet in moderate amounts. People with diabetes and kidney are advised to eat meat very small portions, say 2 to 5 oz. For diabetes, some protein in the evening is good to avoid low blood sugar after a night's sleep.
Tonight I will have some more of the homemade split pea soup I made. It has some meat protein from the ham and some plant proteins from the split peas.
