Are you retarded? Peyton played horrible. He did however make a great improvement over last year.

I said I will give him props if he comes back and wins it all next season.

I think Peyton is a choke artist, and has an under .500 playoff record. Still a superbowl champion, and a first ballot hall of famer.

I also have a special hatred for Peyton (along with Big Ben) as a Pats fan. It seems like we have to go through one or both every fucking year.

Oh and Fuck Flacco.
Now, now...no need for the name calling, unless you were looking in the mirror again.
I asked a question. It seems that Peyton tends to get a pass a lot of times. From the media and public.

Yeah, he threw a couple of picks. His O-line sucked and both were no match for Seattle's D. But if I heard correctly, he broke a Superbowl completion record.

Thats the funny thing. Pete Carroll is the anti Belichick. I think he is more of a cheerleader then anything.

The guy has fun, and he bonds with his players. They love the guy.

People respect and fear belichick (although he cares about his players far more then the media portrays)

It proves that you can win either way.

He is not getting a pass!!! Lol!!! Lots of analysts are plummeting him down the rankings.

Do you even watch sports?

AndI would bet that Carrol is just as good with the xs and os as belichick...it's all perception.

Seahawks seem to always be in the right play...you never see them get burned for huge gains.

He is veru good at what he does. He is a great motivator and leader.  He is probably at the bottom half of the league as an x's an o's guy.

But who gives a shit!!! His method works. Except when he coached the Patriots  :-X

Do you even watch football Groink?  The Seahawks have an all-time great defense. Give any team the Seahawks defense, and 90% would win the superbowl. Remember when guys like Trent Dilfer and Rex Grossman made it to the superbowl?

Look at it this way. Carroll lets his coordinators do their jobs. Belichick also has coordinators, but we all know he probably tells them what to do.

Belichick is a film room rat. Carroll is dropping it low to the latest hit song at practice.

Both are good coaches. Caroll has a long time to go before he can even wipe Belichick's ass though.

Remember guys, Belichick has two superbowl rings as defensive coordinator with the Giants as well. ('86, '90 )

Yes I watch football. You ever notice that the Seahawks are always in good position ? Dont get burned on draws and screens and shit. When someone makes a catch there is a Seahawk RIGHT THERE that wraps him.up...no 15 yards after the catch. They are always in the right play..and right place.  Thats coaching. Carrol has been around since bud grants Vikings.

They have the best atheletes on defense. Plain and simple.

They really are an all-time great defense. Remember guys, Statistically, the Broncos were the best offense of all time. Held to 8 shitty points.

The 49ers almost beat the Seahawks in Seattle, in the NFC championship. Defense really does win championships.

I know that better then most. The '07 Pats were the greatest offense of all-time, and went undefeated to the superbowl.  Then they ran into the Giants pass rush. and.... bubblegum on the helmet of Tyree  :-X

Yes I'm sure their athletes are so head and shoulders above the other teams...so much so they can be burned on a play but still make a tackle for a loss....because they are like supermen ::)

read what you just wrote. Read it again. My statement was of the past. Your statement is of the future. You are using present tense.
And of course this would happen now, duh. This Superbowl was hyped up as #1 Offense, and Peyton tends to always get the "pass" due to his passing stats ..mention him choking is glanced over. It's mentioned, but the NFL loves offensive...

Dude...........They are head and shoulder (as a unit) above almost everyone on defense. The 49ers D are also very good, but lack the talent in the secondary. The 49ers actually have a better front 7 than the Hawks imo.

Remember when the Cardinals beat the Seahawks in Seattle? No coincidence that Arizona also has one of the better defenses in the league.

It is also part hype and perception. Everyone says the Seahawks D is the greatest, so people (including other teams) start to believe it. Mike Tyson syndrome.

No brah..... real sports fans/analysts have him pegged. He might go down as the best regular season quarterback (stats wise) of all-time.  That is what will get him into the hall of fame.

He chokes more then he wins in the playoffs. Real sports fans already knew this.

U seriously?? Quit regurgitating what everyone says?? ::)

Yeah spygate is responsible for the giants catching that tyree catch, or the one when welker dropped that crucial one in the second SB

Brady, both times put his team in position to win....

Put his team in position to win?  In 2007 he was part of the most prolific offense in NFL history, with prime Moss and Welker.  He wasn't supposed to be in a position to win, he was supposed to dominate, and scored only 2 TDs the whole game.  The Giants beat the living shit out of him all game, and made him mediocre, like most NFL quarterbacks are when they don't have 3-4 seconds to throw the ball.

The second game Brady was worse - panicked on the first play with Tuck bearing down which led to a safety, and the throw to Welker could have been much better.

Bottom line is that nobody's taking away what Brady and Belichek have accomplished, both are in the argument for the best at what they've done.  But, despite playing in a complete shit division almost their entire run, they haven't won a thing in a decade and haven't won a thing since spygate.  Those are just indisputable facts.

And, if everyone was doing what they were doing (videotaping the others' walkthroughs), then that must mean it works.   And if it works, it could be the difference maker in a tight game, like all three Patriot wins.

NE fans are acting like they won something last night.  Manning butt raped their team, then proceeded to play horribly in the SB.  He was terrible by his standards, although I don't think anyone was beating Seattle last night.

Dude, The Giants suck. Deal with it. The NFC East actually was pretty horrible the last few years as well. Make the playoffs then come talk to me. Brady led potential game winning drives in both games against the Giants in the superbowl. The defense, and Welker let him down.

The spygate argument loses steam when you look at what the Patriots have done since.

An undefeated regular season, 2 superbowl appearances, and three consecutive AFC championship games.

Giants fans need to pipe down. 2 straight years out of the playoffs? Laughable.

But they know how to beat them Patriots don't they.

The Pats have won how many Games against them in the past 5 years?

I think they are 1-2 against Coughlin and the New York Football Giants.

Eli owns Brady and has the rings to show it.  Let the Pats have their division titles and playoff defeats.  I'll take the 2 SB since '07 any day over........NONE since '04.

But that is what is laughable. Sure, the Giants beat the Pats in the superbowl twice, but that does not make them a better franchise.  I respect the Giants, but the patriots are far more consistent.

You have to make the playoffs to be a viable franchise. The Giants are a toss up every year.  You can almost pencil in the Patriots as one of the teams in the AFC championship game.

Sorry Giants fans.

The Giants can't even make the playoffs!!! You lose.

Eli Manning is a better clutch quarterback than Peyton. That is why Brady will always be better than Peyton.

Brady is the best quarterback of this generation.

;D  Like I have said before...... It is a house divided with me. I go to my dad's house every weekend. He is a Giants fan. We watch the Pats and the Giants with sunday ticket every week.

The Giants are obviously not my favorite team, but I do like them. Inconsistent as hell though.

My brother and I like to watch my dad's reactions almost as much as the game itself.  ;D

The Giants have as many Superbowl wins as the Patriots.

I'd say that makes the franchises just about even.

Neither of them is a Dallas or a San Francisco or a Green Bay.

I think you're just being blinded by the Patriot love... Which is fair, they are your team, but winning it all is what it's all about.

Coming in 2nd does nothing.

Giants have 4 superbowl wins. Patriots have 3. Giants have been to 5, the patriots have been to 7
