Yes and it hurts like hell.  Vicodin didn't do anything.

Had cellulitis in my eye as a very young child. If you have it go see your doctor ASAP and get treated.

I have a double infection in my left Leg... Bright Red Very hot Very swollen... And

MY GOD IS IT PAINFUL.!!!!!

That is where I had mine.  Leg swelled up to Branch Warren size.  I hope you have been to the doctor, if not I suggest you go to the ER now before it get's worse and you have to possibly have it cut open and drained.  Luckily I went early and they didn't have to do that.

Yes i was at doctors as soon as possible.  it's been a week now and my thigh & leg biceps are clear now, though it's proving very stubborn to go from my shin calf area. 
How or why any one would leave it untreated with the amount of swelling, redness and extreme pain it causes you have know immediately something is very wrong.

You can get it in your elbows from having cracked elbow skin touching the leather on gym equip. where staff loves to grow. Had it twice over 60 years. Its a painful MFer. Both times cured it with super mega dosses of Vit C.

Yup. Got it two years ago. Left arm swelled up nicely and was quite red. Not really painful, but the swelling made full ROM a chore. Thought I could 'walk it off' until its size and appearance scared even me. A week's worth of daily IV drips did the trick.

Thanks for the info. i will add 10grams of vit c a day.
