At my gym Eric puts up 315 for 8 and his weight is 145 lbs so 405 isn't that big a deal.....

110kg snatch 132,5kg clean and jerk @ 82-84bw or so

what if i took juice? not sure, it's not that simple maybe i would have snapped my shit up

your deadlift is pretty crazy compared to the rest

fucking hell, you must be tallest guy at the gymnasium

Good stuff on those Olympic lifts. :)

Yeah, my deadlift just shot up while the other lifts didnt.

I'm 6'2ft so not even that tall. My squat technique was always awful and I tend to lean foward so much it looks more like a good morning. :D
I once put 160kg on my back for a few shitty partials and I felt like I was going to pass out. ;D
I don't bench anymore, just do plenty of dips, chins and push ups along with some bigger movements like cleans and presses.

120-lb DBs for 12 is a very strong lift imo.

240 lbs BB for 12 is nothing special (I'm speaking in general terms here; I couldn't do it) but DBs are much more difficult.

I find whenever someone is like "my best was x weight for y reps something in that neighborhood I can't remember THE DETAILS ARE FUZZY" they are full of shit and are greatly exaggerating their strength.  Every serious lifter should be able to tell you what their best lift is on every lift, you do not forget these things.

dumbels are more difficult if you are used to barbell

when doing dumbells for a few months and get good at them you think "damn if i go back to bar bell i'm gonna be a beast"

but then you find out you got bad at barbell ::)

110 lbs dumbbells for 12 on flat bench....not that crazy big deal

Technically, it's more like 120's, but I have seen a buncha guys that can do that. Fuck, I can do the 110's for 10 and I look like shit and have ridiculously long ape-arms.

I know a 5'6" 175lbs guy who looks completely out of shape who puts up video on his facebook of him benching 405lbs.  He first puts on a bench shirt contraption. He inverts himself in the most extreme U shape arch. He takes a big breath to inflate his chest to cut the range of motion. Holds his elbows in for better leverage. Takes a wide grip to shorten the range of motion again. The weight touches his chest with arms barely bending. I think the complete range of motion is around 8 or 10 inches. Yes, he benched 405lbs. Is what he is doing going to make him stronger or a better athlete? I say absolutely not.  He has toothpick arms and not a muscle to be found on his body. I bet if he tried to do 65 perfect full range push ups he couldn't come close.

lol.. A 400lb bench raw unassisted bench for a 6'0 guy  is respectable for ANY NFL football player (DL's aside) , ANY hardcore powerlifting gym. ITs nothing to brush up.

450 is an elite level

500 is getting into world class territory. Less than 5 guys in the nfl who can do this

Most getbiggers work out in gyms where benching 405 for reps is the median lift.

Know what I meant lol.

Matt Kroc I think benched 515 in a raw bench competition, one of the strongest guys  in the world. Even then he is only 5'9.

I could count on one hand the number of times in my life I've seen someone in a gym benching 315 or more unassisted with good form but maybe I work out in pussy gyms :D

i agree about the dumbell thing, i used to use 130,s for 10 n my buddy who had a stronger flat bench than me could only get 6, like i said tho i weighed 280lbs n was on some test so my lifts where decent at best, never squatted more than 495 n never deadlifted over 5. my squat n deads where horrible cause of lower back injury when i was teenager

I always thought of 315 as decently strong...dude isn't a pussy..  anything under that for a 1rm for a guy that has been training a few years is total bitch status.

405 and up is where the big boys chill
