my OBSERVATIONS are based on history and human nature, brochacho. No matter what form of goverment, no matter how things were set up, elites ALWAYS find a way to manipulate and rise to power over others, especially in areas with large populations.
Elites become elites through ruthless and sociopathic manipulation of otherwise innocent systems. Throughout history there is one constant - the ruthless will always rise over the morally strong simply because the ruthless will do whatever it takes to attain power. And the desire to attain power is embedded within human nature.
Even when the morally strong are in positions of authority, the ruthless will eventually get rid of them and take over. Whether by violence, or by cunning, it doesnt matter. The savage will always eventually overtake the civilized.
That's somewhat fair but that trend is on a incremental decline even if it's subtle . If you can't acknowledge that this has been happening there's absolutely no point even talking about the matter.
The fact that were even starting to clearly identify these behaviors gives all the more chance that were gonna be better able to limit them.
Anyway the problem isn't that they corrupt the shit, it's that people refuse to acknowledge the clear signs when something is corrupted beyond to the point the economics makes sense.
If you can't acknowledge blatant monopolies(walmart) as direct threats to a efficient and unrestricted economy your really behind the curve.
The whole Left versus Right thing is Archaic. We can't completely replace the systems we have and the systems we have can't be considered effective.
We need to redefine property rights, so that generational wealth doesn't ending up pooling all the fucking capital. Monopolies can't be tolerated. Burdensome government programs can't be affored, and we sure as hell gotta stop letting outside capital(rich pricks that are citizens) dictate how the fuck we do things.
