I heard lando / Bill Dee Williams is not on this one..
They got to represent at least one black person in the movie..
Or AL SHARPTON and his group of cronies / disciples will start saying Disney is racist  :-\

And that's one ugly face, with distinctive facial features of a negro.
Lando wasn't an ape, looked decent and took just a few minutes of screen time. That was fine, everyone was happy. I can't fucking imagine if Luke or Han Solo were black.
Nowadays they just throw a black amongst blacks in your face - take that, here is your hero. Everytime I see the new SW cast picture, all I can think of is W T F.
Those guys at Disney know how to screw up a simple teaser of a trailer.

Jango Fett.

But, maybe they ran out of clones, as this is 30 years later.

I think the more pertinent question is why the chocolate face is dressed in the armor of a storm trooper and why storm troopers still exist.  If the Republic had control I doubt they would dress their troops in the armor of a storm trooper

I am guessing that the droid head on the rolling beach ball is the new Jar Jar. I am already seething with hatred at the cuteness and marketability of it.

There goes my dreams of the American army adopting the old Stalhelm.

The Empire was not destroyed at the end of Return of the Jedi and probably still control a large chunk of territory.

The stormtroopers are conscripts from imperial territory.

I am guessing that the droid head on the rolling beach ball is the new Jar Jar. I am already seething with hatred at the cuteness and marketability of it.

That didn't bother me.  There's always been an element of that in the all films, but they went way over the top with it in Episode 1, even outside Jar-Jar (C3PO battle scenes were cringe worthy).

I just think those making the film are well aware of the mistakes of the prequels, and will make sure they don't repeat them.
