My wife is half black half Swedish. She took a lot of the white genes look wise though. Light skinned and long curly hair. Everyone including myself thought she was half hispanic when we first met. In fact I didn't even know she was half black till 3 months into dating ..not that it mattered, just never came up in convo. I could care less about color.
That being said,
I've dated a black girls before (dark dark skin), one was very intelligent and well spoken but we just wanted different things in life or it could have gone somewhere serious. I unfortunately had the experience of the bait and switch where they speak and act one way but when around other black friends and family or get drunk, they go "Madea" on my ass. Not attractive.
PS- I've also dated Hispanic, Pacific Islander and white girls that went "ghetto" around certain friends or when they got drunk so...yeeeaahh. And maybe it's just my experience but black girls and Hispanic girls seem to be WAY more into personal hygiene and landscaping than others. Especially when they know we are going to get down.
