That was the part I don't really get. His whole life, the only effort he ever put into dating, etc. was "Hi" to ONE girl. I'm not about to spend time psychoanalyzing this magnificent fuck, but c'mon. Even if it troubles you and you suck at it, TALK to someone. Eventually they'll bite. He always expected or hoped a hottie would just approach him. Dude, it SO rarely works that way at your age.
The kid is better looking than most, that certainly wasn't the problem. And he was smart. WAY uglier, stupider, shorter, fatter, darker, poorer, all "er" guys overwhelmingly end up with
something. But not him. He OBVIOUSLY appeared so disturbed to everyone, they avoided him like AIDS. This was a brain/personality thing 100%.
