No doubt...I used to train in the same gym as  professional muay thai fighter hat weighed about  140  compared to my 270....he was a great guy...used to hold mitts for me and show me stuff for the hell of it, but there's no way in hell I would fight that dude.  real heavy hands ... bag just sounded different when he was working it and fast as hell.

They had a couple of heavy bags in a gym I use to go to. It was fun watching some heavy bench press guys hit the bag. It was like watching soccer moms hitting the bags. There was a lot of light tapping going on. There is a separate entity from strength and that's power. The most important attribute in sprinting, punching, tackling, and other explosive sports is power.
